Kristie Logan, LPNDirector of Health & Wellness
My name is Kristie Logan. I grew up in a small town here in Kansas. I was always surrounded by a big family. I believe this is what sparked my passion for caring for others. While raising my two daughters, I decided to act on my lifelong desire to become a nurse. I received my education from Penn Valley Community College. My 21 years of nursing experience started at a Geriatric Dementia Unit. This is where I discovered my love for working with patients with dementia. I moved on to the VA where I assisted with opening a GI Lab. I enjoyed caring for our Veterans, however, I missed working in geriatric care. I returned to working in a skilled nursing facility. I then decided I wanted to branch out and work in assisted living as a Director of Health and Wellness. I began my management career in a small care facility of 50 residents. I was then offered the opportunity to work here at The Piper.
This is a great community to be a part of. I thank you for trusting me to care for your family members. I look forward to my continued career here at The Piper.
